Podocarpus seedlings are the young form of the Podocarpus macrophyllus, an elegant evergreen tree often called the Buddhist Pine or Japanese Yew. At this stage, they show soft, slender green leaves that will eventually mature into darker, needle-like foliage. Known for their slow and steady growth, these seedlings are perfect for training into bonsai, nurturing as indoor decorative plants, or growing into structured hedges outdoors. They thrive in bright, indirect light with well-draining soil and moderate watering, symbolizing longevity, peace, and resilience as they grow.
Coprosma repens, commonly known as the Mirror Bush or Looking-Glass Plant. It is admired for its glossy, oval-shaped leaves that reflect light, giving the plant a vibrant, polished appearance. Some varieties feature variegated foliage with shades of green, cream, bronze, or even orange, making it a colorful choice for gardens and pots. Tough and salt-tolerant, it is ideal for coastal areas, hedges, or ornamental landscaping. It prefers full sun to partial shade, well-drained soil, and occasional pruning to maintain shape, offering year-round shine and texture to any space.
